WELCOME TO MY e-PORTFOLIO

I've come a long way and at times it was a long rocky road, but I overcame the obstacles and I'm almost there! I've created this ePortfolio as the culmination of my accomplishments over the past two years in the EDTECH Master's of Educational Technology Program. Not only because it was a requirement for completion of the M.E.T. Program but to exhibit my collected works that I have completed at Boise State University.

At the top of this page are the links to my:

  • AECT Standards: includes links to my artifacts that display my design, development,  utilization,
       management and evaluation techniques.
  • Rational Paper: Justifies why I chose each artifact and recaps my learning experiences
  • Reflection Video: Is a visual presentation of some of the artifacts chosen for my ePortfolio.

To the right are links to:

  • EDTECH Courses
  • External links to Boise State Internet sites and
  • Technology tools that I found to be useful while completing this program and I know will also be
useful to me in my future career endeavors.

Something About Me!

I started my career as a Fashion Designer after receiving my BA in Fashion Design from Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City. After working for two years designing clothing for a sportswear company in New York City, my family and I left New York and moved to Florida in 1986, because of health problems, which was attributed to the cold winter weather. After moving to Florida I gained employment at Broward College (formerly Broward Community College). I have always loved technology and teaching and after completing this program I will have a good basis for establishing a career as a technology instructor at Broward College this Fall.

The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write,

but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn. - Alvin Toffler

The purpose of learning is growth, and our minds, unlike our bodies,

can continue growing as we continue to live. - Mortimer Adler
